Direct Transfer
Browser file contents are not stored by Xferio. WebRTC uses DTLS encryption in transit, including relayed traffic. Metadata and usage are recorded; peers may see each other’s IP address.
Xferio Drive
Files are stored in object storage selected by the operator. Upload checks decide readiness. Malware scanning applies where configured; a clean result is not a guarantee.
Access and account controls
Passwords, sign-in rules, scoped member grants, authorised administrator access, two-step verification, sessions and activity records.
Retention is part of the product
Transfer history follows retention rules. Trash keeps stored files until physical deletion. Backup and storage-location details are pending operator confirmation.
